With the help of the records of a card reader, workers can be targeted, for example, when employee A is entering into a administration building, the UHF RFID Integrated Reader would read the tag of workers, send the information to the host computer, and record the worker's trail.

DP DHL applicated UHF RFID technology to parcels tracking

DP DHL lauched UHF RFID technology to track Parcels

DP is Europe's largest e-mail service provider. The company has international mail, lightweight goods delivery business, revenue amounted to 1 billion Euros last year. All DP's international express business will go through the sorting center in Frankfurt.

For the postal industry, RFID is not new. Like other IPC members, DP installed UHF RFID reader at critical facilities, so that it is more easy to monitor the quality of international mail business. In addition. DP also installed UHF reader in international mail terminal for process monitoring and improving the process of post delivery.

This month, Deutsche Post (DP), Deutsche Post DHL (DP DHL) began using EPC UHF RFID technology, to provide information about the goods arrival or department in Frankfurt sorting centers for its customers, especially overseas envelopes and parcel customers. This RFID tracking systems can help customers understand arrival time of destination package. When cargo is delivered to destinations of 16 countries, the DP would use RFID readers to read the data and update related information for the customer. Under the leading of International Post Corporation (IPC), a cooperation organization across 24 countries among Europe, North America and Asia, a number of other postal operators have begun to install the RFID monitoring system.

DP in Frankfurt international hub installed Lanyngsoe Systems integrated antenna LS4200 RFID reader, this reader is mainly used for reading the small pieces of tag ID number through this sorting system attached to.

DP overseas mail and direct mail product management VP Dirk Pandikow said from this year, we began to consider technology commercialization services. Using RFID identification system, shippers only need RFID tag attached that DP provides for automatic tracking through Frankfurt hub mail.

DP offers two different RFID tags: N044044B1U, built-in Impinj Monza 4E chip; AZ9662, built-Alien Technology Higgs 3 chip. The number of labels are to be selling 20/50 or 500, you can use the machine manually to paste RFID tag label.

UAVs equipped with an RFID reader to read data from the air

In November 2015, Denso WAVE has began selling RFID tags, which can be read as far as about 2.5m by the uhf rfid reader module "RFID VOCS Scanner UR30". The products were equipped on unmanned aerial vehicles. From October 22 to 23, "Niigata BIZ EXPO2015" demonstration  was carried out outdoor to read RFID tags, which used UAV  "Mini-surveyor MS-06LA"  by Japan Self Control System Institute .and the UAV automatically flight at about 3m air when the reader was fixed through a camera bracket. 30 RFID tags were stacked up in boxes .And UAV flight over on them to identify and read the ID.

The products differ from QR codes and bar codes affixed which only could read data .This products can be 360-degree reading and be linearly polarized antenna.

Thus, the RFID reader is fixedly mounted downwardly even when UAV is not aligned label, the label still can be read, if UVA is located within the communication range of all tags.

Goods ID and other data can be sent to the smart phones and tablet PCs via Bluetooth communication. It is said that Japan Sato Holding Company who assisted in the presentation and  warehouse management systems will use this system for business, which was composed by the same drones and RFID warehouse management system.
